Open seven days a week, 1847 is one of Manchester’s premiere vegetarian dining hotspots. With dishes like our favourite, The Allotment Salad with broad beans, courgette ribbons, heritage tomatoes, peas, crispy bean curd and watercress, which is a colourful feast for the eyes. It’s the desserts that grabbed our attention though, with the 1847 Brownie with chilli brittle, pistachio soil and basil syrup. Vegan and gluten free options are also available.

Located in Stockport town centre, The Allotment is one of the area’s newest Vegan and sugar & gluten-free dining hotspots. Offering a seven course taster menu, as well as three courses for £15 – soup, main and dessert, which change weekly.
